  • Bill Birmingham

    Bill Birmingham is a master machinist and tool maker from Victoria Texas. He has more than 60 years of field archeology experience. He discovered more than 75 archeological sites in Victoria County. He was awarded the Curtis Tunnell Lifetime Achievement Award in Archeology by the Texas Historical Commission. He has been the Victoria County Archeology Steward for more than 45 years. He named the Anaqua Point, found two Clovis points, and excavated on LaSalle’s ship the LaBelle, LaSalle’s Fort St Louis and countless other archeology projects in the region. Bill’s field experience combined with his skills as a master machinist have created field-tested tools designed specifically for archeologists.
